Sierra Ledger Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Sierra Ledger. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the service, you agree to these Terms for yourself and, where applicable, for the business you are authorized to represent.
1. Account authority and information
You must provide accurate information, protect login credentials, use appropriate staff permissions, and ensure that people accessing a workspace are authorized. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Sierra Ledger’s breach of its obligations.
2. Permitted use
You may use Sierra Ledger for lawful business-management activities. You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, upload unlawful or malicious material, evade subscription controls, or use the platform to violate another person’s rights.
3. Business records and outputs
You control the business content entered into your workspace and remain responsible for reviewing transactions, inventory, reports and generated insights. The service is a management tool and is not a substitute for independent legal, accounting, tax, investment or financial advice.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Plan features, limits, prices, trial periods and renewal terms are presented before purchase and may change prospectively. Confirmed historical payments are not rewritten when prices change. Failure to pay, expiry, security risk, misuse or a lawful platform action may restrict access without erasing preserved records.
5. Availability and changes
We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider failures, security events and circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect service. Features may evolve, with reasonable notice for material changes where appropriate.
6. Privacy, security and providers
Our Privacy Notice describes how information is processed. We may use vetted infrastructure, communications, payment, analytics and artificial-intelligence providers to operate Sierra Ledger, subject to appropriate safeguards and purpose limitations.
7. Suspension and closure
You may request account closure through the owner profile. Closure is a soft deletion: access ends, while records required for accounting, security, disputes, backups, legal obligations or regulatory requests may be retained. We may suspend or deactivate access for security, legal, payment or misuse reasons and record those actions in an audit trail.
8. Liability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Sierra Ledger is provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Each party remains responsible for losses directly caused by its breach, subject to applicable law and any separately agreed commercial terms.
9. Contact and updates
Material updates may be communicated in the service or by email and may require renewed acknowledgment. Questions about these Terms should be directed through Sierra Ledger’s official support channel.
