1. Accurate information and authority
You confirm that the personal, contact and business information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You also confirm that you are legally authorized to create and operate this Sierra Ledger workspace for yourself or for the business you represent, and that you will keep account details reasonably current.
2. How Sierra Ledger uses your information
Sierra Ledger may process account details, business profile information, product and inventory records, sales, expenses, purchases, customer and supplier details, reports, device and security information, and service-usage records to provide bookkeeping, point-of-sale, inventory, reporting, subscription, support, fraud-prevention and related business-management services.
3. Service providers and international processing
Where necessary to operate the service, information may be processed by carefully selected infrastructure, storage, email, authentication, payment, analytics, artificial-intelligence or communications providers. These providers act only for legitimate service purposes and may operate in other countries, subject to appropriate contractual, security and access controls.
4. Security and account responsibility
Sierra Ledger applies technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password, verification codes and authorized devices; assigning appropriate staff roles; reviewing access to your workspace; and promptly notifying Sierra Ledger about suspected unauthorized access or inaccurate information.
5. Records, retention and lawful disclosure
Business and account records may be retained for security, audit, dispute-resolution, backup, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, legal and regulatory purposes, including after an account is closed. Sierra Ledger may preserve or disclose information when required by applicable law, a valid court or regulatory request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or the public.
6. Your review and correction responsibilities
You remain responsible for reviewing transactions, reports, tax-related information, inventory balances and other records produced through your workspace. You should notify Sierra Ledger of material account-data errors and correct business records when appropriate. Automated summaries and insights depend on the information entered into the system.
7. Professional advice limitation
Sierra Ledger provides business-management tools and informational outputs. Unless expressly agreed in writing, it does not provide independent legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional when a decision requires advice specific to your circumstances or jurisdiction.
8. Communications and service notices
You agree that Sierra Ledger may send necessary verification codes, password-recovery messages, staff invitations, security alerts, service notices, billing information and reports requested through your account. Marketing messages, where used, should be managed separately and in accordance with applicable consent rules.
9. Terms, privacy and future updates
By continuing, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the Sierra Ledger Terms of Service and Privacy Notice. Material changes will be communicated or presented for renewed acknowledgment where appropriate. Continued use after an effective update may be governed by the updated documents as permitted by applicable law.
